Beijing (CHN) World Cup 21st-22nd December 2013

The Bird’s Nest stadium will be the breathtaking venue for the second World Cup of 2014 with back-to-back World Cup events on the 21st and 22nd December 2013.

Great Britain will be represented by Harry Gillam and Lloyd Wallace as they try and secure selection to TeamGB for the fast approaching Winter Olympic Games in Sochi 2014.

Built for the opening ceremony of the 2008 Beijing Summer Olympic Games, it will be the first time the FIS has hosted a World Cup skiing event in the Capital city of Beijing and will be broadcast live on television to a huge audience. Obviously the aerials arena will be constructed with scaffolding and a huge amount of snow will be transported into the stadium for the event. It’s certainly going to be a memorable event held in an iconic location!
