Utah Nor-Am Aerials 3

Day 3 of Nor-Am at Utah Olympic Park was a new format event, with three rounds of jumping and without any of the scores being combined.

In the women’s all-USA final, Maddy Olsen finished up in 1st place by jumping a LayFull that scored 79.75, 2nd place went to Madie Gorelik jumping LayTuck for 57.59 points and third place was won with just a back tuck by Sara Swenson who scored 52.20.

In the men’s event, Mike Rossi (USA) took gold by jumping Lay-Full-Full, Lay-Tuck-Full, and then Lay-Full-Full in the three separate rounds. Mac Bohonnon jumped Full-doubleFull, Full-doubleFull, and Full-Full to claim silver again, whilst Jack Boyczuk was third with Full-Full, Full-Full, and Lay-Full.

Britain’s Harry Gillam jumped a solid Lay-Tuck and placed 10th in the qualification round, but he didn’t manage to start in Final 1 so dropped to 12th.
