Lloyd’s at Meiringen Europa Cup

Whilst it is always great to see lots of snow this was too much. The Europa Cup was held during the harshest snowstorm the Alps have seen for a decade. There was no jumping the 2 days before the contest but it cleared enough on the Saturday morning to dig out the site and get things going. The snow and wind came back in during training.

The contest went ahead but everyone jumped simple jumps and we had to wait between all jumps for wind to lull. I was happy to land a good full and layout and placed 13th, but I really wanted to train my doubles which didn’t happen.
